Equifax UK is seeking a strategic and commercially minded Financial Crime Product Manager to join our innovative Identity & Fraud Product Team. In this pivotal role, you will champion the fight against financial crime by shaping, building, and scaling market-leading solutions. You will own the end-to-end product lifecycle—from identifying high-potential market opportunities and defining product strategy, to guiding Agile delivery and optimising live portfolios. If you have a deep understanding of the financial crime landscape, a passion for data-driven product management, and the collaborative drive to succeed in a highly matrixed environment, this is your opportunity to build impactful products that protect businesses and consumers alike.

What You’ll Do

  • Market Opportunity Assessment: Drive our market understanding through deep industry research and competitor analysis. You will identify high-potential opportunities and validate concepts directly with current and prospective customers via Voice of Customer (VoC) and advisory sessions.
  • Product Definition: Define comprehensive product requirements balancing market needs with build, buy, or partner strategies. You will also assess strategic partnerships, build commercial models, and lead packaging discussions.
  • Product Strategy & Planning: Be the voice of the product vision. You will develop robust business cases, define roadmaps for the Product Delivery Value Stream, and track success against defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Product Delivery & Launch: Translate vision into execution by writing detailed product requirements. You will contribute to the prioritisation of opportunities, manage critical trade-offs, and support the seamless release of new products to the market.
  • Growth & Portfolio Management: Monitor your products in the wild, ensuring they meet revenue, margin, and market expectations. By gathering and interpreting data, you will make vital lifecycle decisions—from rolling out enhancements to strategic sunsetting—while partnering closely with Data & Analytics, Sales, and other internal teams.

What Experience You Need

  • Industry Background: Significant product management or business analyst experience within a product-led organisation, specifically in Technology, Financial Services, or Data & Analytics.
  • Domain Expertise: Proven, hands-on experience working within the Financial Crime sector.
  • Agile Proficiency: Demonstrated experience driving product delivery using Agile and/or established project management methodologies.
  • Requirements Definition: A strong track record of writing detailed, actionable product requirements. You must be able to clearly articulate the what, who, why, and ROI (how it solves customer problems).
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: The ability to effectively organise, influence, and coordinate efforts across a highly matrixed, fast-paced environment.
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is strongly preferred (equivalent professional experience will be considered).
  • Technical Tools: Familiarity with modern product management and design tools is highly preferred (e.g., Aha!, JIRA, Figma).

What Could Set You Apart

  • Experience of working for a Credit Bureau.
