The Data Management & Quality Manager is effectively accountable for the health of consumer data and oversight of the implementation of policies and standards for consumer data.
What You'll Do- Lead the Data Management & Quality function.
- Help ensure we have an up-to-date Data Management Framework covering policies, standards, rules, metrics and training; leverage global policies and detail UK specifics as required.
- Oversee the performance of the management of data across the a to b to c journey, helping to ensure all is working effectively and accurately and, where not, helping remediate/improve.
- Establish, lead and drive a Data Management improvement roadmap, working closely with supporting functions across the business to continuously improve data process controls based on approved funding to deliver this.
- Oversee the presence of and then management and monitoring of effective validation rules, pass versus fail thresholds, remediation processes and SLAs.
- Define and drive our Data Quality improvement programme, being an advocate across the business for its importance.
- Lead the data fix (incidents & issues) resolution process along with the prioritisation process.
- Provide the UK organisation with guidance on Data Management & Quality best practice in line with our Data Management Framework.
- Proactively identify and mitigate Data Management & Quality risks where possible.
- Monitor and report on our data health and improvement areas based on capabilities available at the time.
- Work with the training manager and CDO D&A colleagues to ensure there is data training for internal employees, including induction and annual existing employee training, to support all employees to obtain the required level of data knowledge for their role.
