Position Summary
The purpose of this position is to oversee the strategic development and growth of client accounts, ensuring that they are developed to their full profit potential for Equator through account planning and the effective management of Director Client Services (DCS) and Account Directors (AD). Collaborate with VP Client Services to deliver and drive client strategy and business growth to achieve agreed financial and profit KPIs whilst maintaining client relationships. Work in partnership with Departmental Directors to improve Equator performance and deliver to client’s expectations.

Essential Responsibilities, Accountabilities & Results
- Work alongside VP Client Service and wider Leadership team to develop a culture of people growth and development within the business.
- Evaluate workload allocation for balanced distribution across team and provide strategic guidance to DCS and AD.
- Advocate for cross-functional collaboration and drive synergy between departments.
- Effectively manage and motivate dedicated DCS and AD team through regular 1:1 meetings and daily contact to establish best working practices, individual goals, and staff development.
- Identify professional development and training needs of the team to enhance client service skills.
- Recruit, train, and retain the best talent to create a high performing team configured to client need and budget.
- Mentor team to problem-solve and work through challenging client or internal issues.
- Drive accountability for employee achievement to contribute to client and Equator objectives.
- Actively participate in leadership team meetings and drive process improvement, team development and client experience initiatives.
- Work alongside business leadership and senior management team to ensure all projects are run in the most efficient manner, maximising key business technologies.
- Work with DCS and AD team to ensure both short-and long-term plans are in place to deliver client satisfaction, internal business efficiencies and KPIs.
- Deliver the revenue to achieve budget and control costs to achieve EDITDA target.
- Work with VP of Client Services, FD, and MD to set business financial budgets based on current client landscape, historic performance, and potential future opportunities.
- Maximise profitability across all responsible accounts. Proactively look for opportunities to improve and aggressively interrogate and act on any perceived risks to forecast.
Educational & Experience Minimum Requirements
This position requires the following knowledge and skills:
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year university, and more than 10 years of experience or equivalent work experience.
- Deep experience in Design and/or Advertising Agency.
- Experience managing multi-level, client facing teams.
- Strong “client-hands” and experience leading account teams.
- Demonstrated ability to excel at leading teams, developing talent, and working through others to consistently deliver budgeted annual, quarterly, and monthly financial and operational results.
- Demonstrated ability to excel as a teammate on a portfolio leadership team and to senior shared services leaders.
