Equation Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a specialist SEN education provider offering post-16 education in a field-based, non-traditional setting. Their learners - primarily young people with Autism and ADHD - follow bespoke pathways that build practical life and employability skills.
We are looking for multiple SEN Tutors to join this growing, supportive team. You will work with small groups (up to 8 learners), tailoring sessions to help each individual progress personally and academically. If you have experience or interest in vocational learning, creative lesson planning, and inclusive teaching, this is the perfect opportunity to make a real difference.
Location: Field-based campus near Heathrow Airport (TW6) - minibus from Terminal 5 available
Hours: Full-time, term-time only
Salary: £29,000-£32,000 per annum

Your day-to-day might include:
- Delivering Entry Level to Level 2 qualifications in a practical, supportive style
- Running sessions in areas such as catering, gardening, shop work or life skills
- Managing learner progress, behaviour and wellbeing
- Working with learners on the Vocational or Rapper Pathways
- Participating in CPD and team planning
We are keen to hear from people who are:
- Qualified at Level 3 or above in education (AET or similar)
- Experienced or empathetic toward learners with Autism, ADHD, or SEN
- Adaptable, calm, and positive with strong communication skills
- Drivers (preferred) or able to reach Heathrow T5 for minibus pick-up
Bonus points if you also bring:
- Experience in vocational sectors like horticulture, catering, retail, trades
- Confidence in managing behaviours and engaging reluctant learners
- A background in practical learning or youth/community work
- Personal experience of SEN (e.g., carer, parent, or neurodivergent yourself)
