About the Role of the Private Client Solicitor
They’re seeking a skilled and client-focused Private Client Solicitor to manage a varied and interesting caseload including:
- Drafting Wills and advising on complex Estate Planning
- Creating and administering Trusts
- Probate and full Estate Administration
- Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection matters
- Tax Planning for high-net-worth individuals and landowners
You’ll work closely with a supportive team, provide tailored and practical advice, and build strong, lasting relationships with clients. You’ll also play a vital role in mentoring junior team members and ensuring compliance with all professional standards.
What they’re Looking For in the Private Client Solicitor;
Essential:
- Qualified Solicitor with practising certificate (England & Wales)
- 2+ years PQE in private client law
- Strong technical expertise in Wills, Probate, Trusts, and Tax
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Able to manage caseloads independently and meet deadlines
Desirable skills of the Private Client Solicitor;
- Experience with farming and land-owning clients or high-value/complex estates
- STEP qualification (or desire to work towards it)
