The Role of the Quantity Surveyor

You’ll take commercial responsibility across multiple projects, working closely with operational teams from pre-construction through to final account.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing project costs and valuations
  • Subcontract procurement and management
  • Preparing CVRs and commercial reporting
  • Handling variations and final accounts
  • Working under JCT forms of contract
  • Supporting successful project delivery on time and within budget

  • Experience working for a main contractor
  • Good understanding of JCT contracts
  • Strong commercial awareness and communication skills
  • Ability to manage projects independently (level dependent)
