Our client is seeking an experienced and highly capable Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute professional with a strong background in heritage and commercial projects to take ownership of multiple schemes and contribute to our continued success.
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of multiple projects, ensuring cost control, profitability, and compliance across a diverse portfolio. You will work closely with Contract Managers and play a key role in financial reporting and project delivery.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring effective cost control and commercial performance
- Prepare and present Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs/CBRs)
- Work closely with Contract Managers, providing accurate reporting and commercial insight
- Oversee tender processes, including pricing and evaluation of tender-led projects
- Ensure projects are delivered within budget, from small works to multi-million-pound schemes
Qualifications:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- Strong background in cost control and commercial management
- 10–15 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role
- Proven experience managing a range of project values (£500k – £5M)
- Experience working on commercial and/or heritage projects
- Exposure to a variety of contract types including MTC and tender-led projects
- Ability to manage workload across multiple projects
