Equation Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of an employer based in Antrim, Northern Ireland, seeking an Estimator to join their growing commercial team. You will play a crucial role in developing competitive tenders and delivering cost estimates that secure major projects across diverse sectors.

Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 per annum DOE

Location: Antrim, Northern Ireland

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday

As Estimator, you will manage the full tendering lifecycle - from analysing client requirements and researching costs, to preparing and submitting bids with precision and professionalism. Your expertise in NEC, JCT, and FIDIC contracts will help ensure commercial and contractual risks are properly managed.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in estimating for construction/fit-out projects
  • Strong knowledge of contractual frameworks (NEC, JCT, FIDIC)
  • PQQ and tender submission experience
  • Excellent Excel and estimating software skills
  • Commercially aware with high attention to detail
  • Team-oriented, proactive, and deadline driven

A qualification in Quantity Surveying or related discipline, and experience with e-tendering platforms, would be an advantage.
