Equation Recruitment is partnering with a leading electrical systems manufacturer based in Princes Risborough. This well-established company specialises in building and distributing electrical enclosures and components, offering services such as design, in-house machining, assembly, and wiring. They work across industries including Water & Wastewater, Automotive, Rail, Highways, Food Processing, HVAC, and Instrumentation.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Designing and developing electrical layouts and schematics using AutoCAD Electrical.
- Creating Bills of Materials (BOMs) and preparing test requirement documentation.
- Reviewing and testing designs to ensure compliance with relevant standards.
- Supporting electrical panel production and attending design reviews.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in electrical engineering calculations for sizing cables and electrical equipment.
- Prior experience in designing electrical control panels.
- Ability to work effectively within a busy design team.
- A degree or HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering (preferred but not essential).
- Familiarity with PLC systems and programming (desirable but not required).
