The Opportunity
As a Multi-Skilled Clearance Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in preparing and processing import/export customs clearances, supporting internal departments and delivering excellent customer service. Approximately 15% of the role involves physical checks of vehicle contents, adding variety and practical involvement to your day. Key Responsibilities of the Administrator
- Monitoring and managing shared workflow mailboxes
- Processing and routing emails to internal departments
- Communicating with clients via phone and email regarding job status
- Receiving data files and job instructions via email and SFTP
- Preparing, checking and processing import/export customs documentation
- Calculating and verifying duties, taxes and international charges
- Ensuring full compliance with HMRC and Border Force regulations
