Equans is looking for an Apprentice Electrician to join our team on the HMCTS Contract based in Wrexham. This is a fixed‑term contract for 48 months on a full‑time basis, working 40 hours per week. We are looking for a motivated Apprentice Electrician to join our team and take the first step in building a rewarding career in electrical maintenance and installation. You will gain hands‑on experience on site while working towards your electrical qualifications, learning from our skilled Technical Operatives and Electrical Leads.

Responsibilities

  • Actively engage in personal development and apprenticeship training.
  • Assist with maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical systems.
  • Learn to read and interpret design drawings, diagrams, and manufacturer specifications.
  • Take responsibility for company tools and ensure they are well maintained.
  • Deliver services to the highest standards in line with Equans’ customer care values and policies.

Qualifications

  • 5 GCSEs at Grade A–C including Maths and English (incl. GCSE Maths)
  • Previous work experience
  • A passion for facilities management
  • Successful postholder must be able to obtain and maintain security vetting.
