Equans is looking for a Business Support Manager (Private Sector) to join our team in Wath upon Dearne or Leeds on a permanent basis. This is a full time role. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle and benefits package.

General Overview: The Business Support Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing the project coordination function, ensuring an effective and efficient process and customer journey covering initial customer contract through to surveys, installation and aftercare are fully supported by the office team. They are responsible for leading a team of Project Coordinators, Customer Liaison Officers and Business Administrators ensuring smooth day to day operations, and monitoring performance against key KPI’s and driving continuous improvement in systems.

What will you deliver?

  • Lead and manage the Project Coordination and Business Support Teams
  • Ensure processes are maintained and embedded within the Project Coordination Delivery Teams and that all processes are adhered to and delivered against, covering scheduling, project coordination and communication for surveys, installation and aftercare
  • Provide resource planning and team leadership across multiple projects
  • Manage the CRM system and provide accurate and timely reporting on KPI’s relating to project coordination, identify and implement improvements
  • Work closely with the Director of Sustainability and the Private Sector Decarbonisation Director to develop and build the Equans delivery model within the Private Sector Domestic Housing market
  • Assist in developing and implementing the delivery of the Equans Private Sector Decarbonisation Business Plan, embedding the business at the forefront of domestic energy efficiency works
  • Attend, prepare and report at relevant project meetings, both internally and externally
  • Support tender and work winning negotiation opportunities

Who are we looking for?

  • Proven experience operating in a management position within the Private Sector Domestic Energy Efficiency Market
  • Previous experience in a Business Support, Office Manager or similar leadership role
  • Experience of operating, working and reporting on Government funded energy efficiency schemes
  • Excellent people management skills and previous experience of overseeing and managing a team
  • Familiar with PAS 2035, PAS 2030:2023 and MCS standards, along with experience of leading teams operating under these regulations
