EQUANS are looking for a Mechanical Apprentice for our Pinderfield & Pontefract Hospital contract in Wakefield. This role would be a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

General Overview

We are looking for someone willing to learn and actively develop their knowledge, skills, and experience to complete Mechanical qualifications. This person will develop onsite experience through assisting and learning from Mechanical Craftsman, Technicians and Subcontractors. This will include learning about Mechanical repair and maintenance work within healthcare.

Complexity

  • Be actively involved in the learning, personal development, and apprenticeship training.
  • To assist in maintenance repairs and installation of Mechanical systems within the Hospital.
  • To be willing to learn to interpret design drawings, diagrams, manufacturers specifications and instructions.
  • Maintain and care for all company tools.
  • Ensure that the services provided are to the highest quality/standard with due recognition of client and customer requirements and ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with EQUANS customer care values and Equal Opportunities Policies.
  • An excellent can-do attitude in wanting to learn and develop whilst doing so safely within our Mechanical safe systems of work.
