Equans is looking for multiple Part time Cleaners to join our team at Gatwick Airport, RH6 0PA on a permanent basis working 15 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £11,544.00 Annually and benefits package.
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, working between 8:00am and 6:00pm.
What will you deliver?
- As a Cleaning Operative, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for passengers, staff, and visitors.
- You will help ensure the highest standards of cleanliness are consistently delivered across the site.
- Carry out cleaning duties in designated areas to agreed standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for all building users.
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Follow Health & Safety, COSHH, and infection control procedures.
- Report any maintenance, safety, or cleanliness concerns to management.
- Support the delivery of a first-class service.
Important Security Requirements
Due to the nature of this role and the airport environment, successful applicants must be able to pass and maintain the following security clearances:
- Counter Terrorist Check (CTC)
- Airside Pass
Please note: Appointment is subject to successfully passing all required security vetting and pre-employment checks.

Who are we looking for?
Essential Requirements:
- Ability to obtain and maintain CTC
- Full UK driving licence and access to reliable transport to travel to site.
- Flexibility to work within the operational hours required.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to high cleaning standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Health & Safety Level 1 (including COSHH and Fire Safety).
- At least one year's experience in a customer-focused environment.
- Experience using cleaning equipment and materials safely.
- Knowledge of infection control procedures.
- Manual handling awareness.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
