Accounts Payable Assistant

Equans is looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our team based in Wath-upon-Dearne on a temporary basis (14 months). This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

You’ll be based at our brand new, super modern Shared Services office in Wath-upon-Dearne, which is a dynamic multifunctional operation, where our people are committed to delivering great services that enable our business to meet its goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Point of contact for procure to pay queries.
  • SC Valuation Reviews.
  • Invoice processing.
  • Supplier statement reconciliations.
  • Internal/external supplier queries.
  • Schedule and process payments.
  • Reconciliations and period end close activities.

Who You Are

  • Previous experience of working in Accounts Payable/Finance.
  • Use of Microsoft packages especially Excel.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Good negotiation skills.
  • Able to organise and prioritise own workload.
  • Demonstrate accuracy/attention to detail.
  • Experience of digital systems.
  • This role includes a basic DBS check therefore ability to pass is essential.

For this role, you must have evidence of the right to work in the UK.
