Equans Data Centers are seeking to appoint a Project Engineer – Mechanical, to support our growing Data Centre business. We are committed to providing cutting edge solutions for our clients' Data Centre facilities and are recruiting a Project Engineer – Mechanical to join our innovative team in projects based in Motherwell.
The Project Engineer – Mechanical will be part of the team responsible for managing the construction aspects of large projects from inception to completion, within set timescales, to high quality standards and within health and safety guidelines.
What you will deliver:
- Assist in ensuring that work is carried out in full conformance with quality, environmental and safety standards.
- Assist with co-ordinate and control the on-site construction process ensuring the site build progresses in line with plan.
- Liaise with Statutory Authorities and Local Authorities as directed by the Site Manager in the submission of all Building Regulation cards as required to allow the progress of the project.
- Attend site meetings, effectively communicate and provide information for Progress Reports.
- Chair and minute the subcontractor meetings in the absence of the Site or Project Manager.
- Assist the Site Manager in the management of materials.
- Record keeping (diary, drawing register).
