Vacancies have arisen for Banksman to join the busy Logistics Dept at QA Hospital. 0600 to 1800 Mon to Sun (4 on 4 off). Logistics provide a comprehensive service to all areas within the Queen Alexandra estate, ensuring that Receipt and Distribution service is maintained to a high standard. Enthusiasm and flexibility are essential qualities required.

To assist in providing both Patients, Staff and Visitors with a safe environment to receive and operative deliveries, by assisting with the management of vehicles within the Receipt and Distribution Department. In addition, contributing to the operational cleanliness of the department/area, and associated equipment in a Hospital/Healthcare setting, whilst working closely with ward/department staff to ensure high quality service provision.

This post is monthly paid, and a uniform is supplied. You will receive a first-class training package, which incorporates on and off the job training with the use of large machinery, a generous annual leave entitlement and the opportunity to join the NHS pension scheme.

In line with Trust guidelines, this post requires candidates to provide 3 years of employment or professional references.
