Equans currently has an exciting opportunity for a part‑time Helpdesk Administrator to join our estates team based at the John Radcliffe hospital in Oxford. This is a permanent position working 25 hours per week, from 17:00 to 22:00, Monday to Friday.

What will you deliver

  • Provide a customer focused Helpdesk service, supporting the needs of the Hospital, dealing accurately with all client/customer requests and managing all complaints in a sensitive and efficient manner.
  • Receive calls in and out of hours with a professional manner.
  • Support the planned maintenance programme by printing off job dockets and returning to the system when complete.
  • Provide a professional approach towards customers and their needs.
  • Provide administration support to the department.

Who are we looking for

  • Must have experience of providing excellent customer service, ideally on a helpdesk.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Able to work as part of a team and autonomously.
  • Must have good IT skills (able to use Microsoft Office and management systems).
  • Well organised and able to prioritise workload.
  • Ability to multi‑task in a busy work environment.
  • Previous experience in a customer service/call centre role is desirable.
  • Previous experience of using a CAFM system (Maximo or similar) is desirable.
