Equans Data Centres are seeking to appoint an Office Manager / Receptionist, to support our growing Data Centre business.

This is a site‑based role on a live construction project in Saunderton, High Wycombe, supporting the Project Director(s) and wider on‑site team.

The role is responsible for the daily operations within the construction site offices/cabins.

We are committed to delivering a professional, efficient and well‑organised working environment across our construction projects, and are recruiting an Office Manager / Receptionist to join our site team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the day‑to‑day operations of the construction site office/cabins, ensuring everything runs smoothly while supporting project delivery and acting as the first point of contact for all site visitors.

What you will deliver?

  • Oversee the daily operations of the construction site office/cabins, ensuring a smooth and efficient working environment
  • Maintain office supplies and ensure the site office/cabins are organised, presentable, and fully functional
  • Coordinate site office/cabin setups including furniture, equipment, and general requirements
  • Manage and maintain office equipment, arranging repairs or replacements as required
  • Act as the main point of contact for suppliers, contractors, and service providers on site
  • Provide front‑of‑house support, welcoming visitors and coordinating access to site
  • Assist in the production and management of project‑related documentation
  • Arrange meetings and coordinate site team activities to support project timelines and deliverables
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records including reports, schedules, and general site documentation
  • Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and follow up on actions
  • Support procurement processes and coordinate logistics for site teams
  • Assist with tracking site‑related costs and general office expenses
  • Ensure effective communication across site teams and provide administrative support where needed
  • Support compliance with health and safety requirements on site, liaising with the H&S Manager
  • Assist with emergency procedures and ensure staff and visitors are aware of site protocols
