ROLE: Mobile Electrician
PAY RATE: £18.00 via Umbrella
CONTRACT TYPE: Temporary Contract
LOCATION: Newark NG23
THE ROLE:
We are seeking a qualified Mobile Electrician to support a range of electrical installation and maintenance projects across occupied and void residential properties. The successful candidate must hold a valid ECS Gold Card and have experience working within domestic and social housing environments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Installation of Solar PV (Photovoltaic) systems.
- Installation and electrical connection of Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP).
- Carrying out full and partial property rewires.
- Electrical works within both occupied and void properties.
- Testing, inspection, fault finding, and commissioning of electrical installations.
- Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with current electrical regulations and health & safety standards.
- Providing a professional and customer-focused service while working in residents' homes.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Gold Card Qualified Electrician.
- Proven experience in domestic electrical installations and maintenance.
- Experience with PV installations, Air Source Heat Pumps, and rewiring projects.
- Comfortable working within occupied properties and interacting with tenants.
- Ability to work independently and manage a mobile workload effectively.
- Full UK Driving Licence preferred.
