Equans is recruiting for a Caretaker. This is a permanent full‑time role working 37.5 hours per week. Salary is £25,954.50 per annum and the role includes a benefits package.
Shift Times:
- Monday to Friday: 5:30 AM – 1:30 PM
- Monday to Friday (subject to change): either 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM
What You Will Deliver:
- Responsible for the day‑to‑day management of the school premises with respect to caretaking services, together with establishing a close working relationship with the school and community groups.
- Ensure that all services are provided to a consistently high standard.
- Assist the Area Supervisor in meeting the requirements of the Project Agreement.
- For this role you must undergo a DBS clearance; therefore the ability to pass is essential.

- Experience of providing general cleaning and security duties and basic maintenance of buildings and associated plant and systems
- Experience of supervising the work of others
- Possess good communication and customer care skills
