Equans is looking for a Multi Site Caretaker to join our team

across the Bassetlaw Schools, based out of Retford Oaks, DN22 7NJ, on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £26,800 per annum.

Shift Pattern:

Alternating weeks from early to late shifts on a 2-week rolling period. Weekends and bank holidays off unless overtime is available.

05:30am – 14:00 with 30min unpaid lunch break. Mon to Fri

11:30am – 20:00 with 30min unpaid lunch break. Mon to Fri

What will you deliver?

The role provides support across several education and leisure facilities where EQUANS provides services such as maintenance, cleaning, porterage, and external site maintenance, including seasonal preparations.

This role requires you to be a key holder and to perform caretaking, maintenance, and cleaning duties, with responsibility for securing the site. You should have a keen eye for detail and practical DIY skills.

Who are we looking for?

Essential: Full UK Driving Licence, experience in a trade or similar role, excellent customer service skills, ability to work independently, use of initiative.

Desirable: H&S experience related to manual handling and working at height, understanding of COSHH guidelines and colour coding.
