Equans is looking for a Multiskilled Engineer to join our team in Motherwell. This is a full-time role. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
What will you deliver?
- Perform installation, maintenance, repair, and commissioning of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and building services equipment.
- Conduct planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across multi-technical systems.
- Diagnose faults efficiently and implement effective corrective actions with minimal downtime.
- Collaborate closely with project teams, site managers, and clients to ensure seamless service execution.
- Carry out various multi trade tasks including plumbing, carpentry, painting and decorating.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards, health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain and care for company tools and equipment, and keep the work area clean and tidy.
- Fulfil any Appointed Person / Responsible Person requirements across the sites.
- Manage company van responsibilities including care and key holding duties.

Who are you?
- Proven experience as a multiskilled engineer in facilities management, building services, or industrial environments.
- Strong technical skills across electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and related trades.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Good problem-solving skills with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Current relevant certifications and qualifications - Mechanical or Electrical NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel to client sites as required.
