EQUANS is recruiting for a Weekend Security Officer to be based in University of Brighton, Lewes Road, BN2 4AT. This is a permanent part-time role working 24 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £17,063.40 per annum and benefits package.

Shift Pattern: Saturday + Sunday 7am-7pm

What will you deliver?

  • The Security officer is responsible for security integrity of the Mithras Halls student accommodation campus, with 804 residents.
  • To guard, patrol and protect buildings, in accordance with the assignment instructions.
  • To fulfil Health & Safety responsibilities by adherence to the requirements of the Company's Health & Safety Policy and Health & Safety Management Plans.
  • To ensure that access control, visitor monitoring and booking systems are complied with and to ensure efficient and smooth operations for producing excellent feedback and resident satisfaction.
  • Responds in a professional and courteous manner by providing accurate and timely information and services.
  • To be 1st responder to all out of hours calls relating to the building, make safe where applicable and co‑ordinate with the National Operation Centre to escape the call where required.
