Equans is looking for a Production Planner to join our team in Leeds on a permanent basis. This is a full time role. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

General Overview

The Planner will lead the Planning, ensuring that the services provided are to the highest quality/standard with due recognition of client and customer requirements. They will plan and prioritise work within recognised safe systems and in accordance with all aspects of health and safety legislation. They will participate in a team approach to the allocation of duties, supporting and working effectively with colleagues to provide good working relationships within the service.

What will you deliver?

  • Producing daily work diaries for engineers via the interactive planner
  • Manage Impact dashboards such as Follow on works required and Orders not fully Allocated
  • Dealing with emergency repairs
  • Dealing with No Access issues & Dealing with failed appointments
  • Producing daily appointment schedules, job sheets and a rolling 2 day plan
  • Managing overdue repairs
  • Updating client interfaces and systems
  • Ensuring appointment details are logged correctly
  • Liaising with delivery supervisors on a daily basis to sign off the appointment schedules
  • Taking inbound calls from clients and engineers to record details of maintenance repairs
  • Rebooking incomplete orders via Impact
  • Logging all relevant details relating to repairs in Impact
  • Recording repair completion details (mainly completed by engineers via their PDAs)
  • Informing clients of further works/variations
  • Informing operations and planning teams of any incomplete repairs
  • Liaising with delivery supervisors to avoid potential failures
  • Ensuring data entry is carried out accurately
  • Answering repair queries from housing associations, tenants, engineers and management

Who are we looking for?

  • Previous helpdesk and dispatch planning experience is desirable
  • Experience and proven skills in helpdesk call processes and processing
  • Experience and skills in planning, prioritisation and allocation of works to operatives
  • Ability to follow processes and guidelines and train direct reports in required processes
  • Strong abilities to prioritise and work well under challenging targets
