Overview
In this role you will lead the commercial delivery of a major FM service contract within Equans Sustainable Facilities Management, while supporting other contracts. You’ll drive contract commercial management, profit improvement, risk and opportunity handling, and ensure compliance across projects. You will engage with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders, aiming to grow the portfolio and improve operational performance. The job blends contract governance with growth initiatives in a values-driven, safe-working environment.

Responsibilities
- Lead the commercial delivery of a significant FM service contract within the Sustainable Facilities Management division
- Provide contract commercial management and drive profit improvement across assigned contracts
- Manage risk and opportunities and ensure compliance with company policies
- Support growth within existing contracts and contribute to new business development initiatives
- Maintain and manage stakeholder relationships with clients, suppliers and leadership
- Collaborate with the commercial team to meet financial plans and improve operations
- Lead negotiations and variations with clients to protect the business and ensure fair outcomes
- Participate in bid governance processes and present to Sector/Division levels
- Oversee dispute resolution activities and input into dispute management
- Ensure adherence to contract review and governance frameworks
- Mitigate key risk areas in collaboration with Finance and Operations
- Promote EQUANS Code of Conduct and uphold safety and quality standards
- Demonstrate integrity, accountability and a proactive approach to continuous improvement
Key requirements
- Commercial experience with FM contracts (beneficial)
- Degree or diploma in Law, Business, Surveying or Built Environment
- Strong understanding of base English contract law applicable to contracts and FM
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyse complex data
- Skilled negotiator with commercial experience
- Understanding of risk analysis/management
- PC literacy with MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- DBS Basic check clearance is essential
