Equans are recruiting for an Apprentice Plumber to be based in Leeds. This is a fixed term full-time role (24 months) working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

General Overview

A person willing to learn and actively develop their knowledge, skills and experience to complete the relevant qualifications for their trade. This person will develop onsite experience through assisting and learning from Operatives and Supervisors. This will include learning about all aspects of their specific trade.

Key Accountabilities

  • To achieve all units laid down by the C.I.T.B. National Vocational Qualifications to achieve a standard in Plumbing installation acceptable to the company.
  • Be actively involved in the learning, personal development, and apprenticeship training.
  • To assist your mentor in maintenance repairs and installation works on a full range of properties.
  • Work as part of a team.
  • Ensure that standards and quality of work produced is in accordance with best practice and fit for purpose.
  • Be willing to learn to interpret drawings, diagrams, manufacturers specifications and instructions.
  • Provide an efficient, courteous, and professional service to all customers.
  • Any other reasonable management request.
