Job Description:

Equans is looking for an Interim Procurement Manager Support & Performance to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. We offer a competitive salary, bonus, and benefits package.

The post holder will deliver tactical procurement requirements and support the Procure to PERFORM strategy through high-quality, transparent project-based service delivery, promoting innovative procurement approaches.

This role actively participates in the PERFORM program, aiming to drive value and financial benefits within procurement. It acts as a link between PERFORM execution and Equans\’ strategic objectives, focusing on initiatives with quantifiable financial impact. Activities outside these parameters or where financial value cannot be quantified are outside the scope of this role, ensuring efforts align with financial targets and maximize value.

Responsibilities include:

  • Deliver procurement responses for audits (ISO, EcoVadis, Achilles, Cabinet Office survey)
  • Oversee and improve procurement policies, processes, and best practices
  • Manage the Procurement SharePoint site for knowledge sharing
  • Report on procurement metrics like compliant spend, sustainable procurement, etc.
  • Engage stakeholders across functions to support procurement initiatives
  • Coordinate internal communications and project management for PERFORM
  • Support category management and procurement teams in strategy and reporting
  • Monitor project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies
  • Track and report on cost savings and non-financial achievements
  • Assist stakeholders in budget validation
  • Identify process improvements and champion organizational change
  • Maintain procurement governance and guidance documents
  • Analyze procurement processes for financial and operational enhancements
  • Ensure timely reporting and stakeholder communication
