Equans Data Centers are seeking to appoint a Quality Engineer based in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, to support our growing Data Centre business.

We are committed to providing cutting edge solutions for our clients Data Centre facilities and are recruitment a Quality Engineer to join our innovative team.

The Quality Engineer will ensure that all projects meet industry standards, regulatory requirements and customer expectations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for quality control, compliance and continuous improvement throughout the construction process and ensure high quality standards and within health and safety guidelines.

What you will deliver?

  • Develop, implement and maintain project-specific Quality Assurance and Quality Control plans
  • Conduct site inspections of Mechanical, Electrical and Architectural installations to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes and safety regulations
  • Ensure that quality management is given the highest priority in delivery to achieve right first time
  • Communicate with delivery teams to ensure full understanding of quality assurance requirements
  • Investigate and resolve quality related issues and recommend corrective actions
  • Maintain accurate quality documentation and reports
  • Provide training and guidance on quality control procedures
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards, safety regulations and customer requirements
  • Be an expert and provide guidance and direction to ensure operational excellence
  • Review quality records, inspection reports and testing documentation
  • Participate in audits, inspections and quality reviews
  • Support standardised inspection and testing procedures to ensure equipment and systems are installed correctly and operate as intended

Who are we looking for?

  • Experience working with a main contractor or large subcontractor
  • Proven experience on quality control/assurance in the construction industry
  • Knowledge of construction materials, methods and quality standards
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills
  • Be self-motivated, with proven organisational ability and the drive to meet deadlines
  • Customer focused with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
  • Attention to Health and Safety matters
  • Experience in the data centres sector is desirable
  • Degree or equivalent in Construction Management or similar is desirable
