Equans is looking for an Administration Apprentice to join our team at Calderdale Royal Hospital on an apprenticeship basis (5 years). This full‑time role is 40 hours per week and includes a competitive salary and benefits package.
What will you deliver?
- General administration duties supporting the help desk, including answering telephone calls, taking messages, and addressing queries.
- Monitoring the help desk, greeting visitors, and directing them to the relevant managers.
- Providing secretarial support: updating spreadsheets, typing memos, meeting minutes, and reports efficiently.
- Maintaining electronic and manual administration systems to support the team.
- Upkeeping a paper‑based records management system.
- Participating in training to develop additional skills as required.
- Carrying out other duties within reason as assigned by the team.

Who are you?
- Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
- Good people skills and the ability to deal with customers and colleagues.
- GCSE or equivalent English (Grade C/4) – Essential.
- GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade C/4) – Essential.
- Computer literate with strong IT skills.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Standard DBS check – ability to pass is essential.
