Equans is recruiting for a Part time Morning Cleaner to be based in Noel Baker Academy DE24 0BR. This is a permanent role working 10 hours per week with a salary of £5,982.90 per annum and benefits package.
Shift Pattern:
- 49-week contract – 39 weeks = 15 hours a week Monday - Friday 6.15am - 08.15am
- 4 weeks set holiday
- No holiday is to be taken during term time or when deep cleans are taking place – deep clean dates are given 1 year in advance.
Deep clean schedule:
- February: 1 week Monday – Friday 7am - 11:30am
- April: 1 week Monday – Friday 7am – 11:30am
- August: 2 weeks Monday - Friday 7am - 11:30am
What you will deliver:
- Carry out all work as requested.
- Ensure all working areas are kept to the highest standard of hygiene, health and safety, and presentation.
- Report any maintenance issues to the Caretaker.
- Work under pressure, problem solve, and use initiative when necessary.
- Follow all company systems and processes.
- Observe site rules and maintain a smart appearance, wearing the company uniform at all times.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and COSHH laws or regulations.
- Follow instructions for the maintenance, cleaning, and storage of equipment.
- Keep cupboards clean and locked when not in use.
- Be proactive and creative in improving current best working practices while following company safety procedures.
- Perform any other reasonable duties as requested by the Caretaker.
- Deal with individual customer requests in a polite and professional manner to exceed customer expectations.
For this role, you must undergo an Enhanced DBS clearance; therefore, the ability to pass is essential.
