EQUANS are recruiting for an Apprentice Fabric Engineer to be based in Congleton. This is a fixed term contract role, working Monday – Friday. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
A person willing to learn and actively develop their knowledge, skills and experience to complete the relevant qualifications for their trade. This person will develop onsite experience through assisting and learning from Operatives and Supervisors. This will include learning about all aspects of their specific trade.
Key responsibilities- Must be dependable and attend work / college without exception
- Be actively involved in the learning, personal development, and apprenticeship training
- Assist your mentor in maintenance repairs and installation works on a full range of properties
- Work as part of a team
- Ensure that standards and quality of work produced is in accordance with best practice and fit for purpose
- Be willing to learn to interpret drawings, diagrams, manufacturers specifications and instructions
- Provide an efficient, courteous, and professional service to all customers
- Any other reasonable management request
- Some work experience in a similar role
- Familiar with general building practices and trade roles
- Confident, organised and self-motivated
- Able to work with a diverse range of people
- Demonstrates eye for detail and commitment to delivering excellent standards
