Overview
EQUANS is seeking a Cleaning Team Leader to join our team at Queen Alexandra Hospital, PO6 3LY on a permanent basis. This is a full‑time role, 37.5 hours per week. Salary £30,088.50 per annum plus a benefits package.
Shift Pattern: Working 12:00–20:00 with one day off in the week and every other weekend.
Responsibilities
- Responsibility and supervision of housekeepers and patient services assistants daily. Ensure full cover regarding duty rosters and allocation of work to complete duties in line with performance standards.
- Supervision and control of service standards delivered to the Trust at ward/departmental level, including the delivery of cleaning, and patient food and beverage service.
- Interface and liaison between ward/departmental managers and services teams regarding reactive maintenance requests. Ensure staff in soft services proactively identify and report maintenance defects as part of daily duties.

Who are we looking for?
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (Desirable)
- Basic Health and Safety Certificate (Desirable)
- Supervisory management qualification (Desirable)
- Ability to work as part of a team (Essential)
- Experience of performance management of employees including appraisals
- Experience in Hotel & Catering or Facilities Management (Desirable)
- Experience in a supervisory capacity
- Computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
