Join our team at 2 Marsham St in Westminster as a Mechanical Maintenance Apprentice on a 4 year apprenticeship programme and start your journey in a rewarding career supporting vital building services undertaking planned, preventative maintenance, testing, repairs, covering a wide range of equipment and services associated with the running of a large office building.

Location: 2 Marsham St, Westminster, SW1P 4DF

Hours: 40 hours per week from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday with a one hour unpaid lunch

Duration: up to 48 months to complete full apprenticeship

Salary: £26,509 p/a

What you'll do:

  • Support the Estates Management in the provision of a 24-hour maintenance service within the site
  • Assist in completion of PPM's and remedials on various mechanical equipment such as, but not limited to, pumps, AHUs and ISS
  • Learn to maintain and repair mechanical systems that keep the site running safely
  • Work alongside experienced professionals, helping with planned maintenance and fixing equipment
  • Develop practical skills through hands-on experience
  • Gain knowledge about important health and safety standards while providing top-notch service to all staff
  • Take on new challenges and grow your expertise, with plenty of training and support along the way
  • Involves attendance at a local college one day per week with 4 days working on site

What we're looking for:

  • Minimum 4 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade 4/C or above including Maths, English, and Science.
  • Great communicator and enjoy working with others.
  • Flexible, proactive, and eager to learn new skills.
  • Take pride in your work and can work independently when needed.
