EQUANS is recruiting for a Chef to be based in EDF Hunterston B Power Station KA23 9QX. This is a permanent full-time role working 35 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £25,125.10 per annum and benefits package.
Shift Times: Monday - Friday 7am-14:30 with half hour break.
What you will deliver:
- Ensure the kitchen staff adhere to quality, hygiene, and cleanliness standards.
- Cook Breakfast & Lunch, supporting any Hospitality required.
- Stay up to date with culinary trends and kitchen processes.
- Deal with suppliers and ensure they supply quality goods at affordable prices.
- Support the chef manager with ordering stock as needed.
- Oversee the maintenance of kitchen equipment and organize repairs when needed.
- Support the development of new dishes/Menus and overhauling menus to attract more customers.
For this role you must undergo a DBS clearance therefore ability to pass is essential.
