Equans is looking for a Receptionist to join our team working in St David’s Hospital, Canton, Cardiff, CF11 9XB. This is a fixed‑term, part‑time role working 34 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £22,471.28 per annum and a benefits package.

Shift Times:

  • Thursday - Sunday working two shifts
  • Thursday / Friday - 09:00 - 15:00
  • Saturday / Sunday - 07:00 - 19:00

Responsibilities:

The Receptionist will work unsupervised, organise their own workload and demonstrate initiative, providing reception duties and business support services primarily for St David’s and Monnovale hospitals. The Receptionist will also undertake cleaning of all offices, patient rooms, toilets, day rooms, and assist with clean‑up following patient feeding; damp dusting; barrier cleans; high‑level dusting; and spot cleaning as required.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working in an office environment, ideally with frontline customer service responsibilities.
  • Proficient in IT, including the use of databases and Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • First Aid and Fire Warden qualifications are desirable; candidates willing to undertake this training will also be considered.
  • Cleaning experience in a hospital environment.
  • Food hygiene certification is desirable.
