Equans currently has an exciting opportunity for a Shift Building Maintenance Assistant to join our facilities team at Southmead Hospital in Bristol. This is a permanent full-time shift-based position working an average of 38.5 hours per week, 4 on 4 off, days and nights: 07:00 to 19:00 / 19:00 to 07:00. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Operations Manager
- Undertake maintenance of the building, including PPM, reactive maintenance, and new installation tasks, as directed by the PPM schedule and management using appropriate trade skills
- Order materials and services as required using ordering system and updating records, certify satisfactory delivery/completion
- Oversee specialist contractors
Qualifications
- Experience in M&E building services is required
- Willingness to attain cross-skilling and undertake training
- General handyperson skills are essential
- Good IT skills
- Flexibility, good customer service and communication skills
- Good knowledge of Health and Safety procedures; formal training is an advantage
