As part of our growth, we are looking for a Logistics Technician. The Logistics Technician executes the efficient delivery and shipment coordination, receipt, storage, handling, and distribution of materials and equipment across the Client warehouse (J24), HLH, and AXIMA interim warehouses located in Cullompton, Portbury, Lower Weare, and Highbridge. The role also includes monitoring maintenance activities at AXIMA’s interim warehouse.
The position ensures accurate inventory control, safe and compliant storage, proper logistics documentation, and effective coordination of export activities with the customs broker.
Your role and responsibilities:
- Maintain the Project Logistics Tracker up to date at all times.
- Receive, inspect, and record all incoming goods, ensuring accuracy and compliance with specifications.
- Manage inventory control by maintaining accurate stock records and monitoring remaining quantities, usage, forecasted deliveries, and maintenance reporting.
- Oversee interim warehouse providers to ensure the safe operation of equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet trucks).
- Ensure safe storage of goods in accordance with health, safety, and quality requirements.
- Prepare shipping documentation and update logistics systems accordingly.
- Coordinate with suppliers, transport partners, and internal teams to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
- Investigate and resolve any stock discrepancies or delivery issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and health & safety procedures.

- You have experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations.
- You are well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage priorities effectively.
- You possess strong communication and teamwork skills, along with basic IT proficiency (Microsoft Office and warehouse systems).
- You have a good understanding of health and safety procedures.
