Electrical Craftsperson in Birmingham

Equans is looking for an Electrical Craftsperson to join our team based at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

What will you deliver?

• Undertake improvement work, maintenance and repairs of plant, services and physical assets including testing and routine fault finding.
• The responsibilities will be at the Mental Health Sites.
• Carry out unsupervised maintenance and repairs and report any defects or unusual circumstances to the Supervisor.
• Diagnose and repair faults in engineering installation, plant, and equipment.
• Ensure all PPM and Reactive work is carried out effectively in compliance with maintenance instructions and response and repair times.
• Undertake any reasonable duties to maintain all services to the NHS Trust.
• Carry out all works in compliance with EQUANS’s KPI’s and contract.
• Participation in the out of hours on call rota (vehicle provided).

Who are you?

• Electrical Approved Apprenticeship.
• EAL Level 3 Electrotechnical NVQ or C & G 2357 Level 3 NVQ.
• AM218th Edition of the Wiring Regulations C& G 2382-18.
• Driving licence.
• HTM-06-(02)(03) Competent Person for LV.

This role includes a DBS Standard check therefore ability to pass is essential.
