THE ROLE: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Assistant Site Manager to support a roofing project across social housing sites in Birmingham. The successful candidate will move between different sites across the area, assisting with the effective coordination and management of site activities. Previous social housing experience is preferred.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with the day-to-day management and coordination of roofing works across multiple social housing sites.
- Move between different project locations across Birmingham as required.
- Support site teams and contractors to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the required standard.
- Monitor site activities and help ensure project schedules and requirements are met.
- Promote and maintain high standards of health and safety across all sites.
- Assist with coordinating operatives, materials, and site activities.
- Identify and report site issues, defects, and health and safety concerns to site management.
- Ensure company policies, client requirements, and site procedures are followed at all times.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Full UK Driving Licence and use of own vehicle
- Valid DBS
- Valid CSCS Card
- First Aid Certificate
- SMSTS/SMSTC qualification
- Fire Marshal Certificate
- Asbestos Awareness Certificate
DESIRABLE SKILLS:
- Previous experience working on social housing projects.
- Experience within roofing or roofing refurbishment projects.
- Previous experience working across multiple sites.
