Equans is looking for an Apprentice Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) to join our team in Silchester. This full‑time apprenticeship role offers a competitive salary, structured training, and a full benefits package. The Apprentice Resident Liaison Officer serves as a vital link between the construction team and residents, ensuring effective communication and addressing concerns promptly. This role is the primary point of contact for residents, facilitates smooth project execution, and maintains high levels of customer satisfaction. This apprenticeship provides structured training and hands‑on experience, giving the ARLO essential skills and insight into both the construction and customer service sectors within a social housing environment.

Main Duties:

  • Act as the main point of contact between residents and the construction team during projects.
  • Communicate project updates, timelines, and potential disruptions clearly and effectively.
  • Organise and support resident meetings, consultation events, and community engagement days.
  • Maintain accurate records of all resident interactions and provide administrative support to the site team.
  • Monitor on‑site progress and resident concerns, escalating issues where necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with site managers, health & safety teams, and external stakeholders.
  • Support the delivery of construction works in occupied housing environments with minimal disruption.
  • Enroll in and complete a formal apprenticeship programme with regular reviews, mentoring, and training.
