Equans is looking for a Roofer to join our team in Leeds on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package. General Overview: The Roofer is accountable for carrying out roofing installations, repairs, and maintenance on properties managed by the company. They are responsible for ensuring the integrity and functionality of roofing systems while upholding high standards of safety and customer satisfaction. What will you deliver? Install, repair, and maintain roofing systems according to specifications and industry standards. Conduct inspections to assess the condition of roofs and identify necessary repairs. Repair leaks, renewing felt, refixing or replacing damaged concrete, clay, or slate tiles including ridge, hip, verge, valleys, and vertical tiles. To further include repairs to flashings, verges, and RWP. Repair flat roofing to plain, mineral, or torch-on felt. Repair and replace roofing materials using appropriate tools and techniques. Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and supervisors regarding job requirements and progress. Complete necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and promptly. Use personal protective equipment and safety protocols to ensure safe working conditions. What can we offer you? NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds qualification in Roofing or equivalent. Valid CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card. Proven experience in roofing repairs and maintenance work. Knowledge of various roofing materials and systems (slate, tile, flat roofs, etc.). Full UK driving license. Who are we?
