Equans is looking for a Mobile Supervisor to join our team working across the Midlands on a permanent basis. This is a full‑time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle and benefits package. The role is on our Midlands Mobile contract, largely based in Stoke‑on‑Trent with coverage in Birmingham. The main office is in Coleshill.

What will you deliver?

  • Lead, support and mentor a team of multi‑skilled engineers across various contract sites to deliver outstanding service and operational excellence.
  • Carry out hands‑on engineering and maintenance tasks (approximately 50% of time), ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
  • Perform office duties such as raising quotes, liaising with customers, supporting the contract manager and leading meetings.
  • Serve as the main escalation point for engineers, providing guidance and resolving technical issues.
  • Own compliance and maintenance oversight for water treatment, plant, HVAC systems, as well as mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Ensure reactive tasks throughout the sites are completed and proactively highlight areas for improvement.
  • Supervise and monitor subcontractors’ work on site during maintenance.
  • Participate in the on‑call rota.

Who are you?

  • A fully qualified Electrical or Mechanical Engineer.
  • If Electrical, must be an approved electrician with an apprenticeship, AM2 and 18th Edition.
  • If Mechanical, must be a qualified mechanical engineer with supporting qualifications and experience.
  • Managerial experience.
  • Facilities management background.
  • Ideally IOSH qualified.
  • Desirable: BMS experience.
  • Driving licence.
  • DSB Enhanced with Barred Lists check required.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • No relocation package.
