Overview

Equans is looking for a Part time Cleaning Supervisor to join our team in Truro Combined Court, Courts of Justice, Edward Street TR1 2PB on a permanent basis working 20 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £13,416.00 per annum and benefits package.

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 13:45-17:45

What will you deliver?

To supervise the site Cleaning Teams to ensure a high standard of cleanliness internally and externally. To be the first point of contact on Waste, Pest Control and Landscaping Services.

Security and Vetting

For this role you must undergo BPSS level vetting. Part of this includes DBS clearance therefore ability to pass is essential.

BPSS Quick Guide

In order to meet our customers requirements, the post holder must go through Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). This is a form of Security Clearance set out by the Government which goes through several checks.

These checks typically include:

  • Identity Verification: Passport, photo ID, birth certificate, etc.
  • Employment History (past 3 years): Any gaps will require HMRC statements for the period in question.
  • Right to Work Status in the UK: Citizenship or valid share code.
  • Unspent Criminal Record: Disclosure of any unspent convictions.
  • Significant Periods Abroad: Any periods of 6+ months spent abroad in the past 3 years.

Who are we looking for?

  • Experience of Industry/public leaning services,
  • Previous experience of supervising a cleaning team in multiple locations,
  • COSHH knowledge,
  • Understand basic health and safety principles,
  • Able to motivate a cleaning team,
  • Good communication and customer care skills,
  • Team player demonstrating a proactive approach to problem solving,
  • Ability to plan and prioritise workload with limited supervision,
  • Basic knowledge on IT and Microsoft Office systems,
