Equans is looking for a Part time Morning Cleaning Operative to join our team in Derby Combined Court, Morledge DE1 2XE on a permanent basis working 10 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £6,448.00 annually and benefits package. Shift Pattern MON - FRI 07:00 - 09:00.

What will you deliver?

To provide an effective, responsive cleaning service throughout the concerned HMCTS, ensuring delivery and maintenance of a high standard of cleanliness, which meets the requirement of EQUANS, the HMCTS and the National Standards of Cleanliness.

BPSS and security clearances

Some positions require BPSS vetting. Part of this includes DBS clearance; therefore the ability to pass is essential. The BPSS quick guide is provided below to outline typical checks. This is a form of security clearance set out by the Government which involves several checks.

BPSS Checks

  • Identity Verification: Passport, photo ID, birth certificate, etc.
  • Employment History (past 3 years): Any gaps will require HMRC statements for the period in question.
  • Right to Work Status in the UK: Citizenship or valid share code.
  • Unspent Criminal Record: Disclosure of any unspent convictions.
  • Significant Periods Abroad: Any periods of 6+ months spent abroad in the past 3 years.

Who are we looking for?

  • Experience as a Cleaner
  • At least one year of experience within a customer-focused environment
  • Current DBS (Ideally no older than 12 months)
  • Ability to acquire BPSS vetting
