Equans is looking for a Accounts Payable Team Member to join our team based in Quorum Business Park on a permanent basis.
This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week.

You’ll be based at our brand new, super modern Shared Services office in Newcastle, which is a dynamic multifunctional operation, where our people are committed to delivering great services that enable our business to meet its goals.

You will be working as part of a busy team (approximately 30), in a Procure to Pay environment.
The team are responsible for approximately 400,000 supplier payments.
The role involves the processing of invoices, supplier account reconciliation, helping resolve any known disputes, and ensuring goods/services are receipted on a timely basis.
What will you deliver?
- Point of contact for procure to pay queries.
- Supplier statement reconciliations.
- Schedule and process payments.
- Reconciliations and period end close activities.

Who are we looking for?
- Previous experience of working in an Accounts Payable environment is desirable.
- Use of Microsoft packages.
- Supplier statement reconciliations.
- The ability to work as part of a wider team, with an agile approach to all activities.
This role includes a Basic DBS check therefore ability to pass is essential.
