Equans is looking for a full‑time Multi Site Caretaker to join our team at Tuxford Academy, Markham Rd, Newark‑on‑Trent, NG22 0JH. The role involves 40 hours per week, a salary of £12.72 per hour, and a comprehensive benefits package.
Shift Times
- X1 week of early shift – Monday to Friday 05.30am – 14.00pm
- X1 week of after’s shift – Monday to Friday 11.30am – 20.00pm
- Alternating weeks, all bank holidays off
What you will deliver
- Key holder for the site and responsible for securing the premises
- Full range of caretaking duties, including maintenance, sub‑contractor management and compliance records
- Ad‑hoc cleaning duties and practical DIY tasks such as joinery and decorating
- Regular site inspections and reporting of any issues to senior staff

Who are we looking for?
- Previous caretaking experience
- Practical maintenance skills – joinery, decorating, etc.
- Physically fit – able to perform manual handling, work at height and navigate large sites
- Live within a 30‑minute travel time to the site and willing to use own vehicle for inter‑site travel with business‑commuting insurance and a valid driving licence
- Flexible – able to provide occasional overtime, weekend cover and additional school use
- Consistent wearing of uniform and personal protective clothing – well presented at all times
- Full DBS clearance (enhanced) required before commencing
- Full driving licence required
