Join to apply for the Mobile Water Treatment Technician role at Equans UK & Ireland. The position is a permanent, full-time role based in the North of England, covering the North West and North East of England. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering Water Treatment Engineering and Risk Assessment services across the region.
Responsibilities:
- Represent EQUANS Technical Compliance Services as a Water Treatment Engineer or Risk Assessor, executing the self‑delivery of all Water Treatment services across the North of the UK.
- Perform temperature monitoring, showerhead descaling, cold water storage tank inspections and cleans, cooling tower cleaning and disinfection, TMV servicing, and water sampling.
- In Tier 2 add dosing of inhibitor and biocide, LTHW system testing and analysis.
- In Tier 3 add cooling system testing and analysis, water softener servicing or plumbing remedial works.
- Respond in a timely manner to verbal and written requests.
- Carry out preventive maintenance service visits using appropriate tools and systems.
- Ensure all site L8 logbooks are up to date and accurate.

Who you are:
- City & Guilds or NVQ equivalent qualification relevant to the appropriate Tier grading.
- Up‑to‑date knowledge of technical regulations including Water Supply Regulations/Byelaws, L8 ACOP, HSG274 and other guidance.
- Fault diagnosis and resolution skills.
- Valid driving licence.
- Ability to pass a DBS Enhanced with Barred Lists check.
