Equans is looking for a Mobile Handyperson to join our team covering Hampshire. This is a full time role. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

What will you deliver?

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across the Southern Water Estate
  • Support the helpdesk and operational teams with maintenance activities
  • Supervise subcontractors and report any issues promptly
  • Maintain accurate statutory records and compliance documentation
  • Perform water hygiene tasks including legionella control checks
  • Undertake general handyman duties such as carpentry, painting, plumbing and building repairs
  • Manage deliveries of post and parcels and assist with office moves and relocations
  • Ensure health and safety standards are met and promote good safety habits
  • Provide excellent customer service and support front of house areas

Who are you?

  • Proven experience in a facilities management or similar environment
  • Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player
  • Good IT skills including Word and Excel
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Qualifications such as GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths and IOSH Working Safely certificate
  • Understanding of health and safety legislation and best practices
