Job Title: Mobile Gas Engineer
Location: South of London & Surrounding Areas
Salary: Β£50,000 β Β£52,450
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM β 5:00 PM
Reporting to: Line Manager
About the Role
EQUANS is seeking an experienced and qualified Mobile Gas Engineer to join our Private South β Mobile team. The successful candidate will support the Contract Manager in delivering compliance, servicing, and remedial works across a portfolio of sites in the South of London and surrounding areas. This is a field-based role with responsibility for a wide range of combustion systems and associated plant.
Key Responsibilities
Service and repair of combustion appliances and equipment
Provide detailed condition and dilapidation reports
Support the Helpdesk team with planned and reactive maintenance
Assist with preparing quotations for additional works
Participate in the regional on-call rota
Ensure all work is compliant with current gas regulations and EQUANS standards
Report any hazardous installations or safety concerns
Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies
What We\βre Looking For
We are looking for someone who is customer-focused, organised, and capable of working independently under pressure. You should be confident in prioritising tasks, communicating effectively, and maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
Extensive knowledge of commercial and domestic gas systems
Strong background in servicing, installation, and repair
Recognised gas qualifications, including:
CCN1, CENWAT, CODNCO1, CIGA1, CDGA1, CPA1, ICPN1, TPCP1A
And other relevant commercial gas competencies
Valid driving licence
